Not happy with this response, I lodged a formal complaint with cricut and after 7 days (& a follow-up email) I received a response from Cricut (Anna). I started using it 1-2 times a week from January (this year) & the fault appeared approx 8 weeks ago ( late April?) Read more urchased as a gift for my mother Dec 2019? However she never used it and sat dormant. I would expect, given the price tag on this item, a minimum of 5 years longevity/lifespan. I approached Cricut and was advised by Lilli, whilst they agreed with the fault, the machine required replacement, but as my machine was out of warranty, there was nothing they could do. I googled how to fix the issue & found out that it was a well known fault with the machine. The rubber roller on my Cricut 3 has recently started slipping, which in turn has rendered 5 of my mats unusable (its folds the edge so it won't feed properly). ![]()
